Kitchen Worktops In Bristol

Black is the new black in the kitchen fashion world. In many cultures, the colour black is symbol of authority and modesty and is a sign of due respect. In Japanese culture, black is a symbol of nobility, age and experience and a black belt is a mark of achievement and seniority in martial arts such as karate and judo. But even in the UK, Black Tie functions are a type of sophisticated and smart gathering, black also denotes prestige- many limousines are black and traditionally our police cars were black and white, demanding respect and authority.

Black kitchen appliances certainly demand and earn that respect. The simple uniform colour looks sleek and modest in a wooden kitchen and blends in perfectly with dark wood surfaces, but also contrasts brilliantly with opposite colours such as white and even stainless steel cupboards and worktops. Black is a truly versatile colour.

Most top kitchen manufacturers offer a choice of black kitchen appliances, including refrigerators and freezers, cookers, dishwashers, washing machines and even wine coolers amongst others. There are a couple of options available to you if you want to redesign your whole kitchen with black appliances. You can obviously buy the whole appliance, but depending on your budget, there is an option to cheat in some cases until you have the money to buy the real thing. Some manufacturers have begun to produce black frames for appliances that you may have already purchased. This is not available in all cases and it depends upon the appliances that you already own, but here is an example.

Kitchen manufacturer, Smeg, now offer a black microwave frame to fit a range of their microwaves at around £100 or just over, which is great for people with microwaves that have already gotten damaged or for people that fancy a change to a black kitchen appliance. Linear also do something similar. They now offer a black microwave cover to match all the Linear Series ovens. This model has a stainless steel trim on black glass and a smooth gliding lift door with a hydraulic hinged lifting system and costs just under £330.

Black fridge freezers are becoming more and more popular and Smeg offer an American style model amongst others for just under £2000. Rangemaster’s Kitchener range of cookers are available in black and come with heavy duty black cast iron pan supports- the twin oven dual fuel model available at just under £2000.Even taps are now available with black controls making it even easier to coordinate the whole kitchen. Smeg GENOA’s chrome tap with black joystick control also has a swivel spout and an aerator and has a market price of around £200.

There is no question that black is back. And your black kitchen appliances will never go out of fashion because they will fit in with whatever future styles you may have in mind too. Black is no longer a boring colour. It is a colour to be admired, enjoyed and respected. Make sure that you can find a manufacturer who can provide you with all the black kitchen appliances that you need and not just some of them to get the full impact of the complete style.

So, with Christmas, holidays and sickness all getting in the way and hold ups with the bad snow in January….I'm delighted to say that work on the house if finally coming to an end…only one more week of work left WOOHOOOOO!. We've ended up having more things done around the house than originally intended but that really had to do with the electrics which turned into a bigger job than anyone anticipated. As well as electrics in the new kitchen and bathroom (the original plan) we have basically had to have the rest of the house rewired and a new fuse board fitted as the old one was badly wired and insufficiant. While the house was having a once over by the electrician, we took the opportunity to have some extra sockets and lighting put in around the house, outdoor sockets put in the garden etc and some sockets moved in my art studio to make it easier for me to use my drills and other electrical tools.

Colon Cleanse Weight Loss

Why should you commit to natural body cleanse? Any person that doesn’t have any energy even though they’ve had a full night’s sleep is having problems with their body. That weight that crept on you overnight is also another sign that you need a total body cleanse. Your body is giving you hints that it isn’t working properly. You should heed its call.

If you are no longer in puberty, but your skin is breaking out, this is a signal you aren’t removing toxins sufficiently. If your other organs aren’t working then your skin is the last resort. You can get rid of your acne and have a better complexion by body cleansing methods.

The organ that removes the most harmful toxins from your body is your liver. If this quits working and you can’t get a liver transplant you will die. It metabolizes the fat and cholesterol and cleans the harmful items in your blood. A partially functioning liver affects your weight. A total body cleanse corrects the problem.

Your kidneys also remove waste from your body. It is a filtration system for fluids that you drink. If you have kidney stones, it is a sign that you are consuming too much calcium or your body has too much uric acid. A total body cleanse will help to remove these items from your body and allow your kidneys to work better.

If you’ve ever suffered from gallstones then you will understand the need for a total body cleanse. Your gallbladder processes the bile that comes from the liver. If you consume too many fatty foods and have gallstones you will experience a lot of pain. Your doctor might suggest surgery as a solution, but this will only impede fixing the symptoms and not the underlying problem. When you cleanse your body, you help it to remove a lot of the build up and waste.

The large girth of your midsection might be due to food trapped in your bowels. This is a vital area where your body gets the substances it needs from the foods that you eat. Your body could be triggering you to eat more as it is not getting the vital nutrients that it needs. A total body cleanse will help to correct the girth that you have and slim your waistline.

The lungs are important to your body functions. Without adequate oxygen your brain cells and other body organs will shut down. If you aren’t getting enough oxygen due to harmful gases then your system will be unbalanced. Any breathing problems that you have might be related to inefficiencies of your lungs. A total body cleanse will clear out your lungs and their bronchial tubes to all you to get all the oxygen your body requires.

A total body cleanse can help improve your overall body functions. Most people won’t do anything about symptoms that they are experiencing until the problem gets too bad. You don’t have to wait for a problem to crop up. You should get a natural body cleanse to keep your operating at your very best.

A body cleanse diet aids your body in ejecting harmful toxins such as caffeine, food additives, nicotine and alcohol. In case you have been consuming a poor diet, you might want to try a cleanse diet that is bound to change the way your body system works. The importance of a detox cannot be underestimated. It is the surest cure for such maladies as indigestion, bloating, fatigue, weight gain and headaches. Even individuals with a defunct or low immunity could benefit from a detox diet. A body cleansing diet ranges from a mild levels to an extreme level based on the volume of toxins accumulated in the body. It is however advisable to begin from a basic diet and build on it slowly as you progress. In the initial stages, a detox diet could be unpleasant. That however is a perfect indication that you require a detoxification since the body is opposing the status quo. You have to tread carefully on any body cleanse diet you come across though. It can be dangerous in case it is not structured in the right way. Consulting with your physician prior to beginning the detoxification is a smart idea. Once you have made up your mind to follow a detox diet, you must commit yourself to the whole body cleanse program from the first day. When it comes to a mild cleansing diet, consistency is the key to absolute success. A body cleanse diet is not that hard to formulate. You only need to understand the elements involved. You have to start the process by drinking one or two glasses of warm water some hours before a breakfast. You can add some freshly squeezed lemon juice to the water. This aids in increasing the flow of bile into the stomach. Bile aids the liver in the breakdown of excessive fat. The glass of water and lemon is also important since it helps the body in the elimination of toxins. Having jump-started the metabolism process, whatever else you eat during the day will be broken down fast and efficiently.During the afternoons, you can add some chlorophyll to a glass of water and have it as it is. This is because chlorophyll is a wonderful detoxifier. A derivative of the alfalfa, chlorophyll appears mostly in antioxidant products. It is known to support the body cell health as well as increasing the production of red blood cell. Besides that, chlorophyll boosts your energy levels. While following a body cleanse diet, ensure that include eat a lot of fiber-rich foods in the daily diet. This will help to regulate your bowel movements and also in eliminating excess toxins. Bran, ground flaxseed and oat are great sources of natural fiber that you can add to cereals or blend with applesauce. You can consider tossing a little bran or oat into the blender for some more fiber if you enjoy smoothies. Don't forget to use the foods that benefit the liver during a cleansing diet. These foods include celery, carrots, lemons and beet roots.

Make Internet Income

How-to guide to earn extra money at home. Tips provided and resources to help supplement your finances.

Blogosphere on Bootstrapping: SVB

SVB stands for Silicon Valley Blogger, who writes The Digerati Life. She has a number of posts on bootstrapping online businesses, but the one that I found really interesting is: Make Money Blogging: Top Bloggers And How Much They Earn . Apparently, Boing Boing earns over $1 million …

PART-TIME HOLLYWOOD PARTY PROMOTER (Hollywood, CA)

MAKE MONEY PARTYING AS A HOLLYWOOD PROMOTER! Are you outgoing and love to meet new people? Do you frequently party in Hollywood? Are you the social director of your group? Do you know a lot of trendy, beautiful people who love to party in Hollywood? If yes, we have the PERFECT job for you! …

Online affiliate marketing is one of the top Web businesses for individuals looking to earn an income on the internet. Not only does it allow you to work at your own pace, set your own hours, and allow you to work for very little overhead costs, but when done well it can be extremely profitable, both for the individual doing the marketing and the company being advertised. However, even though affiliate marketing can be easy to set up and run, you must first find a few good businesses with fair affiliate programs. As with any other business, there are always companies and individuals who will cheat their affiliates, so you must find a worthy business to promoter or you will likely never see your affiliate payment.

The first thing to watch out for when looking to start an affiliate marketing business is the companies website. Most legitimate companies will have a professionally built website that does not contain error pages and other difficulties for the web users. Usually a tell tale sign of a scam company will be either a poorly made or non-functional website, or having no website at all, contacting members solely by email. Now, there are always exceptions to this rule of thumb, but in my experience I would look for a more legitimate looking company to work with to ensure that I receive my compensation.

Another thing that you should look into before launching an affiliate marketing campaign with a company is their customer and affiliate support. Does the company have their own affiliate representative? Do they have an affiliate member's only section on their webpage? Is there a dedicated phone line for affiliate support in case of problems? You should find the answers to all of these questions before you decide if you have found the right company for you to market. It will be extremely important for you to be able to contact them in case any issues arise during the time that you are marketing their products.

Finally, remember, if it looks to good to be true, then it probably is. Companies that try to entice you to join their affiliate marketing program by offering outrageously high commissions may end up being a little bit shady. You should do a quick background check on other websites and a search engine, such a Google, to see if others have been successful with the program before starting your own marketing campaign.

VOIP Server

February 9th, 2010 darrellwaters1973 No comments

Any normal internet connection is equipped for the transmission of regular data, not more complex voice related data. VoIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol. A VoIP server is capable of providing a complete communication service by which you can send voice messages easily over an internet connection. With VoIP services, people have the option of sending messages and making phone calls via the internet.

Today, one can do a lot of things on the same VoIP server and all in 'real time'. The more usual services available in the market are based on the standards of the SER (SIP express router) and the 'Asterix', these being what allows VoIP to be a lot of things at the same time.

Big advances have been made recently, and in a relatively short period of time. VoIP can offer an 'all in one solution' for your business and personal telecommunication needs. Some of the deals available can save just about any business a small fortune, which is probably the biggest incentive for most to get a VoIP server. Especially with regards to online companies.

Different deals cater to different needs. While some will offer a flat rate, others will offer packages of services. As is always good advice, shop around before committing yourself. Some VoIP providers offer better deals for calls made outside your own country; others give preference to national calls.

What do you need? That's the fundamental question. Assess your company's needs. Then go looking for the solution. Many of the latest servers include the services of a media server, SIP, a video conferencing facility, and even the ability to transfer a voicemail into an email.

The benefits of having a VoIP based server are innumerable, the features available equally so. For many businesses, this service has already proved to be invaluable. And it continues to be improved all the time. In an unstable financial climate, you have to stay ahead in business. That means watching expenses! An easy solution is to keep communication costs at their lowest.

Time is money. If you seek to create a seamless network of people able to work and communicate remotely in real time, and at a cost you can justify, A VoIP server offers the solution. Usually, no upgrades are required to your computer system in order to get the service running. Although again, that will depend on the on the provider you choose and the computer you have.

Choose carefully, and you can save a bundle. And, who doesn't like the idea of saving money?

Amby Hammock Natures Nest Travel Cot, Baby Hammock Bed

Is your eight hour sleeping schedule being disturbed with a new baby in the house? If so, you are not alone. Many people with babies are dealing with this same problem. Here is some baby sleeping advice that you can take to help get your baby sleeping through the night and get yourself back on track for a full night's slumber.

Creating a good sleeping pattern for your baby should begin as soon as possible. It is understandable that a newborn has needs. They need to eat more frequently than older babies and therefore will be up several times during the night to be fed. You should not expect to create any kind of sleeping pattern during the first couple months of your baby's life. Once these first couple months have past and your baby is starting to get bigger and needs less feedings throughout the night, you can begin to implement certain sleep habits in your baby by following the tips below consistently and as early as possible.

1. Your baby should always be in a safe and calm environment when put down to sleep. Make sure they are warm, dry and comfortable. Before you put your baby down to sleep, make sure they have on a clean, dry diaper and warm clothes.

2. Try giving your baby a warm, soothing bath before bed. It is a known fact that bathing a baby before bedtime lulls them to sleep afterwards. Try rubbing some lavender and chamomile baby lotion on your baby's skin afterwards. Lavender and chamomile have a very calming, relaxing scent.

3. When your baby wakes up in the middle of the night, some baby sleeping advice would be to let them cry for a few minutes before immediately going and picking them up. Once a baby gets older, they usually cry for attention rather than for being hungry. So, if you can tolerate it, let them cry it out. Five to ten minutes of crying is actually good for your baby. It teaches them how to put themselves back to sleep. Do not let them cry for more than fifteen to twenty minutes though.

4. Instead of picking up your crying baby during sleep time, try humming them a lullaby or rubbing their back while speaking softly to them. Just the sound of your voice and your gentle touch might be enough to reassure your baby you are there and it's okay for them to go back to sleep.

5. Another baby sleeping advice tip you can try is to give your baby their own room. Everyone wakes up during the night, whether it be to roll over and get comfortable on another side of their body, fluff their pillow or because they heard a noise in the room. Your baby is no different. If you find yourself having to pick up your baby several times during the night, this might not be because your baby senses you in the room, but because you are in the room. You can be your own worst enemy when it comes to letting your baby sleep. If you cannot stand to hear your baby cry for several minutes in between sleep, maybe you should sleep in a separate room. Most of the time, a baby will put themselves back to sleep without your assistance if you would just let them.

6. Try playing some soft music for your baby when they awake to help them drift back to sleep. Once they fall asleep, be sure to turn it off so they do not rely on this every time. Use this method occasionally and with other methods to put your baby to sleep.

Getting up several times during the night with a crying baby can be really tiring and trying. Following the baby sleeping advice above as well as testing out new methods of your own can help. Don't worry though if your methods do not seem to work and your baby is still getting up during the night. Every baby is different and they will eventually get to the point where you can get your full eight hours of sleep. Just have patience and show them a lot of love.

How do I learn about media buying

January 11th, 2010 darrellwaters1973 No comments

How do I learn about media buying

A fateful day is coming when there will be no more advertising, marketing, or public relations. Why? Simple: we're killing our industry by being too successful at it.

The communications field keeps finding new ways to send sales messages to target audiences, and by utilizing these new methods to the maximum extent possible, we are strangling the effectiveness of all media. Quite frankly, marketing intrusiveness is out of control.

Ads Beyond Counting.
Some reports claim you'll view 10,000,000 ads in your lifetime, yet with new communication channels and new techniques of marketing, that number is probably under-estimated.

Sponsored data is built into your mail, e-mail, Web sites, video games, online games, magazines, newspapers, newsletters, and media broadcasts. Ads are delivered by TV, radio, phones, outdoor boards, private vehicles, and transit posters. Marketing messages are sprayed on walls, chalked on sidewalks, printed on condoms, acted out in the streets, waiting to ambush you in restrooms, and beamed at you from electronic displays of every shape, size, and description, including sound-emitting urinal cakes.

Viral creations contain ad messages. Word of mouth advertising (WOM) is expanding fast. Channel One delivers commercials to kids in schools.

In stores, RFID (radio frequency identification) chips track your purchases. Watch TV and your selections are tracked. Online, every click is monitored. That information is available for sale, so demographic and psychographic data can be accumulated and you, the targeted consumer, can be more accurately reached.

Sponsormania.
Phrases like this emerge from your radio and TV: “Welcome to the Nextel Halftime Report, brought to you by Toyota.” They might reel off a whole string of sponsors for a ten-minute programming segment that features interviews with players and coaches wearing corporate logos while standing in front of electronically shimmering backgrounds displaying other corporate logos. The way we're going, we can soon expect to hear: “Welcome to C-SPAN's coverage of the Halliburton Congress, brought to you by Bechtel.”

Ads by the Pound.
Grab the Sunday morning newspaper. Weight: 3.4 lbs. Remove the advertising booklets, inserts, leaflets, flyers, announcements, mini-magazines, and the classified section. Remaining weight of news sections: 1.2 lbs. But each of these sections also contains ads. And some entire sections could be viewed as ad-oriented, such as Entertainment, Style, Food, Real Estate and Automotive.

Most of us don't begrudge the puffery in the movie or TV sections, but we're blurring the line between information and marketing in all other areas of the paper.

In an “article” on a new car were the following phrases: “…unique charm… head-turning good looks along with outstanding usefulness… exceptional headroom… feeling of spaciousness… Definitely a good buy.” Mileage was reported to be 22/city and 30/highway. Hardly impressive, yet the article concluded with “attractive gas mileage” as one of the vehicle's features.

I think money changed hands to get that favorable review. Or there was pressure on the writer to state everything in a positive manner so the auto maker as well as their dealers will take out more ads.

We've gotten used to these things in the auto, movie, TV, cooking, lifestyle and home sections. But now they're happening in every section. Indeed, they happen in every aspect of today's communications.

The Pay-To-Say Society.
In advertising, marketing, and public relations, editorial and news coverage are now available for a price. We are in the “pay-to-say” society.

Consider:
* Authors interviewed on TV: the time has been bought and paid for.
* That lighthearted TV show roundup of the best kitchen appliances: the products have been “placed” in the program (just as the clothing, cars, restaurants, cameras, TV sets, furniture, dishware and other products have been placed in movies and TV programming).
* That model/actress/hunk/entrepreneur on a magazine cover: the space has been sold according to a rate card, just like an ad.
* That “news report” on government support of education: the entire mock documentary was written, produced and distributed by the people who want to shape your opinion.

You may be reading this on a Web site that places ads all around the text and/or links to ads embedded in the editorial content, just awaiting your unsuspecting cursor to roll over them.

If you're reading this in a magazine, an RFID may be inside. (For that matter, there may be RFIDs in the lining of your jacket, in your shoes, in your jeans, or in that pack of gum in your pocket.)

The Truth: On Sale.
I once ghostwrote an article for a coalition of companies that made polystyrene products. Their industry was facing problems over the waste issue and they needed to have an upbeat but corporate magazine story about how dedicated they were to recycling. So I was paid three thousand dollars to state their case.

Since I was supplied with reams of input and interviews, the article was full of facts and figures about the miracles of their recycling process, the enticingly high percentage of re-used product that the industry could accommodate in its manufacturing processes, and on and on.

What wasn't in the article was one teeny tiny little fact: there was no means of collecting the used products in order for any of this recycling to take place. That minor detail negated the underlying point of the propaganda. Oops, I mean informative editorial piece.

With the improprieties of Jayson Blair and Judith Miller came doubts about the print media. These doubts grew after learning that a male prostitute was allowed to penetrate the White House press corps so he could lob softball questions to the president's Press Secretary.

The main problem with all of the “advertorial” placements, made-up stories, and outright lying is obvious. What is left for anyone to believe? With everything becoming an ad, people will start to turn away from ad messages in greater numbers.

The NASCARizing of Everything.
We've all seen and made fun of the maze of logos on NASCAR vehicles but now other sports are mulling the idea of ads on uniforms and equipment. Horseracing, the NBA, all sports are considering it.

The digital age has already enabled ads to be placed where ads don't actually exist. For example, there are continually-changing billboards behind the batter in televised baseball games. That would be distracting to the pitcher, so they don't appear in real life, only on your TV screen.

There's a new magazine called “Other Advertising” dedicated to the new forms of advertising intrusiveness. That's where I read about digital outdoor billboards that sense the FM station playing in your vehicle and change the display to match demographic choices that align with your choice of programming.

American Technology Corporation's HyperSonic Sound system and Holosonics' Audio Spotlight are perfecting the ability to direct audio messages to individuals passing nearby. So, for example, based on the RFID chip in your purchases, each person in a checkout line would hear a different ad. (Full disclosure: there is a message about ATC's HSS system in the song “Paranormal Radio” on my ELECTRO BOP album.)

AdverInfoEduTainment.
When I first wrote about the ways advertising messages were being placed inside almost every activity in the universe, I ended the article with some predictions that many people found outlandish, including:

* Debit card scanners in TV sets, so you can order during a commercial with the flick of your remote.
* Barcodes in songs, so you can download from iTunes or Real Rhapsody by swiping your XM or Sirius player with your Visa or MasterCard.
* Credit cards built into wristwatches.
* Interactive ads, where you get to star in a five-minute escape from reality.
* Holographic projections of commercials from postage stamps, car and house keys, magazine covers, etc.
* Microchips embedded under your skin, so YOU will be the receiver for TV, radio, satellite, telephone, and global positioning system signals

I was interviewed on many morning radio programs about how Big Brother might take over all forms of communication. This made for humorous drive-time banter, but what some people overlooked in my list of prognostications was the fact that every one of them had already come true by the time the article was published. They're not all being used in the marketplace due to high costs, but the announcements of their existence have been made.

Ad Industry Usefulness.
Without advertising, marketing, or PR, vital communication is thwarted and sales suffer. Company payrolls are cut and jobs are lost. Industries like manufacturing, packaging, transportation, and retailing are all hurt. Without us, parts of the economy evaporate like a puddle of water on sun-baked concrete.

So, what do we need to do? First, let's own up to what's going on. We justify things by developing highfalutin' names like “branded entertainment,” “product integration,” “street teaming,” “buzz marketing,” “positioned journalism,” “secured placement,” and the like. But when faced with intrusive technology for your marketing messages, ask yourself if you'd like to be assaulted by it. Let's treat consumers like someone we know. Let's treat them with respect instead of like a mark, a patsy, a rube, or a flock of sheep.

Second, can we attempt to insist on wit, taste and genuine humor in the ads and PR we create?

We advertisers are, at best, invited guests into people's homes or the public space. At worst, we are party crashers or unwanted intruders. And we're overloading everything with annoying messages.

Imagine if we behaved in this manner in our daily lives:

“Hi, Shirley! My good morning message is brought to you by Henderson's Hardware, for all your home improvement needs.”

“Thanks, Jim! My Have-a-Nice-Day reply is courtesy Magnum Magnificence, your best choice for a complete line of lighting fixtures. Come to Magnum Magnificence and see the light.”

Before it's too late, I hope we all see the light.

How Long Does Morning Sickness Last?

Early signs of pregnancy or pregnancy symptoms vary from person to person and pregnancy to pregnancy. Some women may experience multiple pregnancy symptoms while others relatively few. Symptoms of pregnancy may also be caused by other conditions or as the result of a false pregnancy. The signs of pregnancy may come gradually or hit suddenly, and the variation of intensity with pregnancy symptoms only accentuates the fact that each and every pregnancy is unique.

A woman may inquire about signs of pregnancy if she has a desire to become pregnant, thinks it is possible that she will become pregnant, or is concerned that she might be pregnant. It is important to remember that the signs of pregnancy may not happen for everyone, and it is possible that a person is pregnant even if they do not experience any pregnancy symptoms. Here are some of the most common pregnancy symptoms:

Nausea or vomiting, typically after periods of not eating (mornings, extended fasts) is one of the most notable pregnancy symptoms. Typically, signs of pregnancy like morning sickness occur after missing a menstrual period, but some women claim to have morning sickness from the very first week of pregnancy. Though this is unlikely, it can occur as early as the second week of pregnancy. Typically this pregnancy symptom fades at about the twelfth week. Nausea or vomiting can be caused by other disorders including gastrointestinal issues, nervousness, or overeating.

Fullness or an achy sensation in the breasts is a fairly common example of early pregnancy symptoms. Similar in sensation to the ache experienced premenstrually, breast tenderness is caused by hormone fluctuation in pregnancy. In addition, vein structure in the breasts may become more prominent. In subsequent pregnancies, breasts can leak colostrum slightly. These pregnancy signs can be the result of an upcoming menstrual cycle or hormone changes unrelated to pregnancy as well.

Irritability or moodiness is one of the signs of pregnancy that can also be the result of premenstrual syndrome, hormonal imbalance, stress, or other causes. Weepiness, unusual emotional overreaction, and even an unnaturally sunny disposition may be a possible early pregnancy sign.

Headaches caused by hormonal changes are common in early pregnancy. Not all pregnancies are hallmarked by headaches, but they can be a less recognized sign of pregnancy.

Fatigue is one of the more common symptoms of pregnancy that women notice, often very early. Fatigue can also be the result of over exertion or stress.

If you are familiar with basal body temperature charting and your bbt remains elevated following ovulation, it may be a positive pregnancy sign. Though not a “sure thing”, it is definitely a pregnancy symptom that may be considered.

Back pain, especially in the lower back can also be one of the indicating early pregnancy symptoms. Back pain in early pregnancy is caused by the stretching of the ligaments supporting the uterus. Of course, there are many other causes behind back pain.

Breakthrough bleeding with or without implantation pain is another of the early pregnancy signs to watch for. Breakthrough bleeding is simply bleeding that occurs between cycles. Often, implantation can cause this condition, most often about four days prior to when your period is due. Implantation bleeding is lighter than menstrual bleeding and should not last for more than forty-eight hours. Breakthrough bleeding can also be caused by cervix irritation, egg release, an earlier than expected period, infection, or simply hormonal fluctuations.

Vivid dreams may not be one of the most definitive signs of pregnancy, but it is considered a fairly common pregnancy symptom for many women. Typically the dreams are wilder than normal or may involve pregnancy or motherhood. Though the experts may insist that vivid dreams as pregnancy symptoms are simply impossible, many who have been pregnant before disagree.

Heartburn, more common in later pregnancy, may also be an early sign of pregnancy. Though heartburn is most often caused by digestive issues, many pregnant mothers have experienced heartburn along with or instead of morning sickness.

Skin changes occur throughout pregnancy and are also one of the most prominent early pregnancy symptoms. The aureoles darken and other pigmentation changes occur.

Cramping or pulling sensations in the uterus do not always mean a period is coming. Sometimes, cramps are one of the signs of pregnancy. This pregnancy symptom is caused by the ligaments supporting the uterus being stretched out.

Food cravings or aversions are both pregnancy symptoms women notice early in pregnancy and often throughout. Food cravings can also be caused from imagined pregnancy, malnutrition, emotional needs, and simply the desire for certain cuisine.

Weight gain, though not always just one of the signs of pregnancy, can be a telltale pregnancy symptom. Early pregnancy gain can be caused by hormonal changes, water retention, or even overeating. Similar to the other symptoms of pregnancy, other situations may result in weight gain.

Dizziness was one of the first pregnancy symptoms written about by Laura Ingalls Wilder when she spoke of Laura's pregnancy with Rose. Though not as well publicized as other signs of pregnancy, dizziness in pregnancy is caused by changes in blood volume as well as hormones. There are many other conditions like various vertigo conditions and inner ear infections that can cause dizziness as well.

Aversion to particular smells or a heightened sense of smell is another of the hormonal signs of pregnancy. Closely related to morning sickness, the ability to smell less detectable scents is often one of the most complained about pregnancy symptoms.

Bloating can be caused by an upcoming menstrual cycle or it can be one of the more uncomfortable pregnancy symptoms. This is one of the signs of pregnancy that not all women notice, but for those who do, it can be a difficult complaint. Clothes fitting improperly, a full sensation, or just being uncomfortable will only get worse in the months to come, but for those hoping for a pregnancy miracle, bloating can be a sign of more happy discomfort on the way.

Absence of or minute menses is one of the main pregnancy symptoms to look out for. Most women do not even suspect they are pregnant until a late or lighter than usual period. Typically the absence of a menstrual period is “the sign” that a pregnancy is likely. Weight loss, hormone changes, stress, and certain medications can cause an absent or light period.

Frequent urination, though most common later in pregnancy, can be an early pregnancy symptom as well. Though multiple trips to the restroom can also be caused by other reasons like kidney or bladder issues, drinking more, exercise, and drinks consumed, frequent urination in early pregnancy is caused by the body preparing to support another life.

Just a feeling that pregnancy is probable is considered one of the less definitive pregnancy symptoms. Many women report to have just known that they were pregnant without any other symptoms at all, and were correct. Though this feeling may be less reliable than other pregnancy symptoms, considering it to be one of the signs of pregnancy is important. Sometimes, a woman simply knows.

The ONLY sign of pregnancy that is almost foolproof is the positive pregnancy test. Typically a home pregnancy test is only reliable if it has been 10-14 days since ovulation. Even then, the earlier the test, the less reliable the result is. Human error can also make a home pregnancy test less accurate. A blood pregnancy test performed by a medical professional is much more accurate.

Knowing the signs of pregnancy is an essential part of knowing the body. If you are hoping to become pregnant, best of luck. The symptoms of pregnancy may be uncomfortable, but for many women, it is one of the most rewarding conditions of their lives.
